Teacher Registration Terms & Conditions

1. Agreement

By registering as a Teacher on this Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not register.

2. Eligibility

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Legal eligibility to work in your country of residence
  • Valid qualifications and certifications
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC) or equivalent, where required
  • Accurate and current information

3. Independent Contractor Status

  • Teachers are independent contractors, not employees
  • Responsible for own tax, superannuation, insurance, and compliance obligations

4. Platform Services

  • Student access to digital educational services
  • Class hosting infrastructure
  • Payment processing
  • Administrative oversight
The Platform does not guarantee minimum student allocation or earnings.

5. Fees & Payments

  • Teacher class fee: $1.99 per class (subject to updates)
  • Teacher referral incentives: $15 first month, $20 after month 1, $25 after 1 year per 5 students
  • Referral payouts are capped at $2,500 per month per teacher
  • Payments are made in Australian Dollars (AUD)
  • Teachers are responsible for currency conversion, banking fees, and applicable taxes
  • Payments processed as per request
  • $29 AUD may be withheld for disputes, chargebacks, or policy violations

6. Code of Conduct

  • Maintain professional and ethical standards
  • Comply with child protection laws and applicable local laws
  • Avoid harassment, discrimination, or misconduct
  • Do not solicit students outside the Platform

7. Intellectual Property

  • Teachers retain ownership of original teaching materials
  • By uploading content, teachers grant the Platform a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host and distribute content for educational purposes
  • Platform retains ownership of software, branding, and infrastructure intellectual property

8. Confidentiality

  • Protect student data and Platform information
  • Obligations survive termination

9. Data Protection

  • Comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and applicable local data privacy laws
  • Teachers consent to cross-border data processing and storage

10. Suspension & Termination

  • Platform may suspend or terminate accounts for misconduct, breach, fraud, or reputational risk
  • Teachers may terminate with 14 days’ notice

11. Limitation of Liability

  • Platform is not liable for indirect or consequential loss
  • Liability limited to fees paid in the previous 3 months
  • Australian Consumer Law applies; teachers remain responsible for complying with local laws

12. Indemnity

  • Teachers indemnify the Platform against claims arising from conduct, breaches, IP violations, student complaints, or local law violations

13. Amendments

  • Platform may update Terms with 30 days’ notice
  • Continued use constitutes acceptance
  • Teachers may be required to re-accept updated terms

14. Governing Law

Governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Teachers submit to the jurisdiction of NSW courts or arbitration while complying with local laws.

Data may be processed outside Australia. The Platform takes reasonable steps to protect privacy and comply with Australian standards.

8. Data Retention

Data is retained while the account is active, as required by law, or for dispute resolution purposes.

9. Complaints

Complaints may be lodged with the OAIC: www.oaic.gov.au

10. Updates

Updates will be posted on the Platform. Teachers may be required to accept updated versions.
